CALPIRG Staff
Lilly is a first year Society and the Environment major at UC Berkeley, hailing from Seattle. She started interning with CALPIRG in her second week of school, working to cut subsidies to big agribusinesses like Monsanto and Cargill by building a coalition of small farmers, professors, and health professionals. Lilly took the lead on running the chapter’s pledge drive this semester, during which the chapter pledged enough students to raise $54,000 over the course of three years. Next year, she’ll coordinate the New Voters Project Campaign, working to register college students and turn them out to the polls. Lilly is a competitive ballroom dancer in her free time.
