CFL light bulbs use 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs - if everyone in the U.S. switched one light bulb, it would have the same effect on greenhouse gas emissions as taking 800,000 cars off the road!
You can work on a lot of different projects: teaching kids about energy efficiency through fun and interactive lessons; conducting energy efficiency surveys of houses in your neighborhood; creating partnerships with community groups; meeting with local and state officials; working with the media; and more - all in an effort to foster long-term community stewardship and increase energy efficiency across California.
Get Involved!

Work on important issues, learn valuable skills, get hands-on experience, and make a difference.
