This spring break, instead of going to Cancun, I'm joining CALPIRG and 50 other college students to make a difference!! We're going to protect our oceans and marine life by working to pass a statewide ban on Styrofoam takeout containers. HOW FREAKIN' COOL IS THAT!?

We'll start out in San Diego, and travel up the California coast making stops along the way. At each stop, we'll hold beach cleanups and press conferences and collect scenic postcards for our legislators to build support for a statewide Styrofoam takeout container ban.

The tour will end with a lobby day in Sacramento, where we will urge our elected officials to pass the ban! THIS IS A HUGE DEAL!
